June Moan is the project of Aurélien Auchain, well known as the sparkling guitarist of garage combo Mountain Bike, but also a prolific sound engineer and arranger for many bands on the Belgian indie scene (Oberbaum, Italian Boyfriend, Endz, Shoeshine, Annabel Lee, etc.). For many years he has been immersed in the music and songwriting of Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, Jason Lytle, Lou Barlow and Sparklehorse. ‘Let The Hype Decline’ is stripped back and modest, cobbled together in his own bedroom.
