Imperceptible fantasy or loyal alter ego, Fabiola is Fabrice Detry’s (almost) solo project. After more than 10 years of dedicated services along with Austin Lace, The Tellers or Hallo Kosmo, this überpop blacksmith today devotes himself to guiltier pleasures.

In October 2018, Fabiola released ‘Check My Spleen’. An album with 10 pop gems dedicated to the actual organ of Fabrice, without which he wouldn’t be alive today. The band extensively toured in Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Germany and Italy with this highly acclaimed indie pop “classic”.

In February 2025, Fabiola will release ‘The Mushroom Type’. In this new album, the band casts off the moorings of careerism to get on the little bike that rolls around in his head, preferring creative emergence to the sirens of conformism. With this new point of departure, Fabrice Detry confirms his hybrid but never haphazard approach, combining melodic talent and pop immediacy, all crowned with a cerebral, sometimes quasi-mystical psychedelia.
